Bio

A lifelong Arizonan, Wil Cardon attended Mesa’s Mountain View High School, where he excelled academically and on the football field. For his undergraduate studies, Wil attended both Brigham Young University and Stanford, where he had the chance to play football under Hall of Fame Coach Bill Walsh. Wil earned a B.A. in Public Policy. He later earned his MBA at Harvard Business School.
After running his own small business for a couple of years, Wil took over the family business as President and CEO. The Cardon Group was founded in 1934 by Wil’s grandfather. Over the course of the past two decades, Wil has diversified the company by creating jobs, investing in people, products, properties, and helping start-up companies succeed.
In addition to running a successful business, Wil and his family have spent many years dedicated to improving our community by working with numerous charitable organizations. In particular, Wil has helped Banner Health, Arizona’s largest non-profit entity, build the Cardon Children’s Medical Center, a state-of-the-art pediatric facility with 248 beds and six operating rooms.
Wil’s most important job? That would be his family. Wil and his wife, Nicole, have five children between the ages of three and 13. They live in Mesa, where they’re actively involved in their children’s schools and extracurricular activities as well as the family’s church.
